Tired +Tank Feeding= Bad Things

I could not sleep last night and decided to feed my corals at about 3 AM . I was tired and lazy so I tried to just shake a little coral frenzy into a mixing cup . Well way,way too much came out, now if I wasn't so tired I would of tossed out some and then added it to the tank . Well that would of been smart but I chose to just add it all to the tank,what can it hurt . Now I have a nice coating of algae on my glass and the smallest spot of it on my sandbed . As soon as I saw it I sucked it out of the tank and directed a powerhead that way .I'll cut my lights early today also . Lesson learned for now . ::)

buddy if mine did something like that with his turtle tank, sorta. it wasnt that he was tired, more drunk really. woke up and the whole was cloudy. i mean on the verge of a San Fran fog cloudy. apparently he he thought the turles where hungry, went upstairs and dumped most of the turle food container in his tank.
