Thanks for sharing....interesting. However, there is a balance in that the reefs also need the urchins. When the urchins died in Florida in the mid to late 70's from (they believe) a viral/bacterial attack, the reefs ended up dying from becoming overgrow by algae. So we need both the urchins and the triggers to hold everything in balance.

Oh no arguments there. Marine ecosystems are very complex and every organism somehow plays a part in keeping everything balanced.
