Tunze 9002 Skimmer

Planning on making a sump/fuge this weekend for my 20G mantis tank and am debating whether a skimmer would be necessary. Unfortunately, all that will fit under my stand is a 5.5G, but I figure for what will likely amount to $50-60(sans skimmer), it'll be a good addition, if only to have a place for some of my CUC to live without fear for their lives, lol, increase my water volume a bit and get rid of some of the rock/clutter in my tank.

Anyways, my questions are:

A. Is a skimmer worth the money in a tank this small? Especially when I'm still going to be doing fairly frequent water changes due to mantis' eating habits.

B. Is this skimmer any good?

C. If your answer to B is no, what would you suggest?

Gee wiz, I hope the Tunze 9002 works, I’ve been running mine for a couple months, and I’m happy. I have it in a JBJ28 actually in the DT part of the tank.

I read some reviews on how it can be a bit touchy to dial in just right. Have you had any issues like that? Some people claimed, even after getting it set up and working well, that they would still have to make adjustments a couple times a week. That's not the end of the world as that's probably like 5 mins worth of work each week, but the ability to set it right once and not have to mess with it would be nice.
