Had something similar to my yellow tang. My daughter noticed it. Said it looked like he got beat up. So went down to check on him and went to feed some nori and ZAP. Had 68 colts of stray current from one of my circulation pumps. Shut it down. A few weeks later. All healed. So, get yourself a.$5 voltmeter from harbor freight if you don't have one and check your stray voltage.
You will have some. A few volts for heaters and pumps, a few more.here or there...but anything significant needs to be addressed.

Worth a look.

Funny you bring up stray voltage...was having hell of a time keeping anything alive in my 125. Last April I stuck my hand in the tank and got a shock...put the voltmeter in and was getting anywhere between 25 and 40 volts depending on what was turned on. And get this, one of the biggest offenders was the light fixture sitting on the canopy.

Put a grounding probe in and now readings are under 1 volt.

Now did it have anything to do with the fish dying...who knows. Still losing fish here and there. But seems at a slower pace then before.
