What paint for the inside of a canopy?

I have seen many people that paint the inside of their canopies white, can I use any white spray paint? flat or glossy? or what's the best paint to use under the canopy?

Thanks in advance....

Just don’t get my wife involved...should it be ecru, cerise, taupe or maybe mauve...does anyone know what colors these are...I don’t!

I think white makes the mind feel happy.  All lights that I’ve seen have fancy reflectors made of super shiny material.  Painting your canopy white will make you feel like any stray light will be reflected back into the tank.  I’d go with white...gloss, matte or flat...it doesn’t matter.

gloss white, or if there is a steel shop around you ,ask them for polished alum. sheets or already painted sheets, most of them have it. you should be able to get a standard 2x4 sheet for around 10$

Dont use Spray cans
Prime it with a good Primer and then do two coats of Latex Gloss Paint
I used Bright White on my hoods
