This is for you guys living on the Jersey Shore...
I'm looking for a culture of Moina salina, a.k.a. "marine water fleas". They are akin to fresh water daphnia. They were once sold live by AlaGen, but they stopped culturing them a few years back. The only US source I can find for them in in Ohio, but they don't ship (Marine fish food, new life spectrum foods, Vibragro, spectrum, omega one, Phytoplankton, dts, rotifers,copepods). They are available in the UK and in the EU, but neither will ship to the US.
Considering that they're found throughout the world in both tropical and temperate areas, I'm sure they're available in the Estuaries of the Jersey Shore.
I'm offering $25 for a quart sized collection of them. Delivery and payout would be at the July NJRC meet. Any interest?
