Fish Trap

2 Gatorade bottles glued together. I need a fat opening for puffer and hawkfish. Will secure with magnets and there is a hole to tie string and pull vertical.

Below is a DIY fish trap using eggcrate, fishing line, and zip ties. You can bait it with nori, clams, etc. Run the fishing line all the way over to the couch, crack open a beer and wait.

I have made similar with egg crate bur stupid me threw a bunch out because I didn't need it.

Anyway its in action, the yellow blenny went in as its baited with mysis.

Not yet. The blenny went in to eat. Puffer is swimming around looking.

Update:
Puffer hangs out front and waits for the food to defrost and float out.
File fish swam in and ate all the food.
Hawkfish is getting curious.

I caught the hawkfish in the trap. Scooped puffer with a net during water change.

@Foxchase most likely trade her to my boy who has a 300 gallon where she can be happy swimming hunting. I’ll probably get another wrasse of some sort. I have a few in mind
