Culturing pods help!

On June 6th I started trying to culture tig pods. I'm unsure if its going successful. I think i might of put too much phytoplankton smothering the culture. I thought by now I would see tons of adult pods but I don't see that many scurrying around. Should I wait more? Or any other advice.
I got culturing pyhtoplankton down.. that was easy lol.

You should start cutting the culture after 2 weeks. How many pods do you see? Have a pic of the container?

I just took these. Hard to get a picture where you see the pods

That's not dark, I keep mine darker. But, you don't want to grow phyto in there, you use phyto as feed. so that light it not required. If you want to see how many pods you have, turn off air supply, and shine a flashlight through the bottom. You should see plenty, even enough through a picture. Here's mine from a few weeks ago:

The light is actually for my pyhtoplankton that I'm not harvesting right now. I put the light on so I could see.
I took the airsupply out and tried to shine a light down. It was too green for me to see the bottom lol. Ill try harvesting the next day off i have and see what happens

I've had the must success putting the culture in a bucket with live rock , filter floss etc and just dose the phyto and fish food as daily as possible. I had a 5 gallon tall, no fish reef on my Kitchen counter I used as a pod culture. It was by far my longest culture. Which in the end produced the most pods cause it never crashed. And it looked cool. Very very low light and flow.

Within 2 weeks, phyto should be consumed by baby pods. Odd it's still this green. For me, water becomes fully white within a week. Phyto by itself should settle also and water column should be clear.

Hmm, I've been adding pytho but I've never seen it clear. Maybe ill just let this run it's course & I'll get a new set of pods and try it in another jar

I remember coming across a thread on R2R about culturing pods outside in a tote. Nothing more than a banana peel was put in for food. Maybe an air stone too. Has anyone hear tried this?
