Feel stupid but need to post

Howdy,

So I have a stupid confession.... But I have to post it.

I've been installing my reefmat rolls wrong for the last 1.5 years and probably attributing to my tank issues. I was not unclipping the bottom tray and having the fleece run through it. I was just pushing the bottom tray down with the fleece underneath it.... The **** that my roller mat is pulling from the water is INSANE compared to anything it's pulled in the past.

I have one but would have to cut drain pipe to install it. Tight squeeze unless I remove section of sump tank drains into. I'm scared to do either one right now. I may order another drain pipe from red sea in near future and give it a shot.

I don't have the red sea reefer roller itsca different one. So concerned about it functioning properly in this setup.

It's crazy how much stuff my roller mat pulls now. My wife couldn't stop laughing at me....

That's the tank I wanted but couldn't find one used at the time. Went with the 425 not sure my wife will ever let me get bigger !!

I highly recommend it, especially since it's full functioning now haha
