    Thanks! Any other more unique BTA morphs that would be good to add to the collection? Ones that hold their color and don't morph back into regular RBTA.

    Anyone have experience keeping the flametip variety of BTA? I just picked one up and am looking for some tips on placement/care etc. Is it any different from a regular RBTA? Kept those in the past and they did excellent. Lighting is a 8 bulb T5. Tank depth 18"

    Nice tanks but overpriced IMO. No tank will last forever. 20 years is a long time. Silicone will age / degrade on any reef tank. Then factor in scrapes from scrubbing the glass, scratches, etc and you'll want to replace it in 5yrs. Especially if using black silicone.

    What should the next fish be?

    One of the small flasher wrasses or four / six line wrasse. Something that stays small, small bioload, and will actively use all parts of the tank.

    Bulk Reef Supply but equipment selection is limited. Occasionally Dr Foster due to cheaper shipping rates. Have gotten good deals on salt in the past.

    Screen

    Did the same thing. 1/4 inch screen from BRS, the window frame kit from HD, then flat black Krylon fusion paint to match the tank trim. Looks great and durable.

    Common problem with Kalk usage. Need to clean all pumps / floats more frequently due to the buildup. Try mixing your kalk and letting it sit overnight, then pour into your ATO. Will help avoid pumping in the concentrated residue I switch between Kalk and two part every two months because of...
