Flametip BTA ?

Anyone have experience keeping the flametip variety of BTA? I just picked one up and am looking for some tips on placement/care etc. Is it any different from a regular RBTA? Kept those in the past and they did excellent. Lighting is a 8 bulb T5. Tank depth 18"

They are just a color morph of BTA. If you have had good luck in the past, then you should be fine with this one as well.

Thanks! Any other more unique BTA morphs that would be good to add to the collection? Ones that hold their color and don't morph back into regular RBTA.

Alot of it has to do with lighting but as your said alot of them will color up to a more red color.

Ive seen orange BTA's but once you start getting into yellows and neon colors it can be bleaching, like a green BTA can look yellow when slightly bleached. Reds can be pink multicolored when slightly bleached.

You can really make a BTA look any color with the right LEDS.

Sunburst looks pretty sweet! But crazy $. LED's do change the colors on a lot of corals. Sticking with T5's here

I would just be careful with mixing BTAS sometimes they can become aggressive towards other nems.

Larger hosting anemones can be extremely aggressive toward other anemones LPS and shrooms and zoas.
