    I love my CPR HOB fuge. It only holds 3 gallons but it dropped my trates dropped from +40 ppm to less than 10 in 4 days.

    What to put in aquafuge..?

    I would put Live sand and LR in with the Macro's. That is what I have in my CPR HOB fuge. What kind of lights are you going to use for it to grow the Macro. Make sure you use 6000K to 7000K range or so for the light. Do not get a 10000K or 50/50 as the algea will not grow as well. Mike,

    dead rock

    I would put it in a separate container/tank and let it go through it's cycle like everone is saying. I am currently converting some "dead rock" in my garage. I have about 85lbs in a 20 gallon tank. Yes 85 in a 20. There looks to be more rock then water LOL. Mike
