+1 on the Pepermint Shrimp and Copperband Butterfly. The best approach is always a proactive one. IMO you are much better served adding an animal that will keep them in check, rather then adding chemicals that will kill corals if they are missused/overused.

When you get a new tank, I would think about an acrylic tank. I personally would not get a glass tank over 100 gallons, because I know way too many people who have had large glass tanks fail. Just my opinion, good luck.

More info on your system will help. What tank do you have? What kind of tank filtration? What kind of lighting? You say it's newly set up, how long and what is your current bioload?
