I went to Manhattan for 2 days because they were supposed to coat the asphalt in front of my condo so we were not able to get into our place until 8:30PM. Coincidently, my Grand Daughter graduated from middle school, and we went to visit her and go out to an urban (very overpriced) restaurant...

This morning after my sunrise walk at about 5:30 am I took this picture in the dark. Those 2 Janss pipefish were the only fish swimming around. I don't get it, they have not eaten anything that I could tell in a couple of weeks and all the time I have them.

It is definately not easy, but fun. I like to see whats growing under there and remove Godzilla larvae :)

I am thinking of doing something drastic to my tank. Something I think I only did 2 or 3 times in the 55 years the tank has been running. Not sterilizing of course and I don't want to eliminate too many copepods or amphipods because I can't really collect them anymore as the sea is sort of...

On my walk, I did encounter these Alien tracks, probably from one of their research vehicles that comb the beaches of faraway planets looking for any form of life that they can experiment on. They are looking for invertebrates, birds, fish, horseshoe crabs and even maybe a Liberal. :biggrin:
