I checked out the tank today, and I have amphipods swimming all over the place, under the rocks, and in my UG filter. The fish are smiling so much that I may have to get them plastic surgery to make their face bigger to fit their smile. :p

just came back from hunting amphipods on the beach at low tide and I got thousands. I also got a lot of larger swimming "things" that I have no idea what they are and hundreds of tiny snails. It all went in my tank, mud and all so if my tank crashes, I will have to get new hobby. :blue:

I am so happy. On my beach walk this morning at low tide I lifted some rocks and they were loaded with amphipods. They have been totally gone for 2 years and for some reason, now they are back. Tomorrow morning I am going down there with a bucket and collect a few thousand to throw in my tank.
