i just did this use a tube and a sponge on the end which goes into tank.. and drain water scoop up with rubber or pastic dust pan..works great ...why you getting rid of sand ?

if they are still up for grabs i will take it roadking

ok i read the site but he doesn't give a required size am going to use my 55 gallon tank as a sump and baffles and go from there going to have a ton of space since my skimmer is going to sit outside of the tank so what esle could i put in the tank ? heater phos ban reactor filter socks ato...

okay i been looking around for lighting ...pocket is taking a hit .....do i need the lights well i cycle my rocks and sand ..starting new with this tank....so i can hold off for like 6-8 weeks till the cycle is over ?
