I actually know a guy that’s in my area that uses this I help him with his tank he spin test was reading 60 nitrates but his nitrates were actually 80 to 90

I've played with them. I'm actually in the process of ordering a couple for my road guys. They are expensive but for us it's a huge time savor especially when at a customers house. The only downside I've noticed is if your phosphates are less then .1 then it will just show 0.

I too have looked into this and read that it was inaccurate.. I'm hoping Hanna will come out with something like this one day.
 
I have one and it's well worth it. Anyone that says it's inaccurate doesn't have one.

Plus to be fair even icp tests aren't fully accurate.

Your looking for trends and doing 8 tests in 2 minutes is a no brainer. Especially if you have multiple tanks.

Highly recommended - but very expensive.

The range for the nitrate is 0-60, I am not surprised that you would lose accuracy outside of the range for the product. Phosphate is listed as +/- 0.2ppm, so ultra low range isn’t gonna be so helpful, but like others are saying, you will see a trend and you can catch when things are headed in the wrong direction!
