yeah my sump is filling with rubble rock, im gonna take it out once my stuff comes to replace it, i ordered it last night. im gonna fill that area with media bags with carbon, phosphate and nitrate sponge stuff, and also do a water change..the only problem is when i dont have rock in the sump...

I was gonna take out some rubble rock and replace it with the stuff you stated above and some carbon . This way the water passes over it. The problem is my tank is 180 gallons, I think I gotta buy like 4 gallons of that stuff?

im curious, i have been using the tropic marin Pro-Reef Salt. When i look at the salts they kinda all look the same to me but i know some are better then others so i figured id ask you guys?
Also when im mixing the salt mix with my RO water i put do it in 5 gallon buckets..i usually take one...

yeah thats definately it. thanks...for the first year, nobody (including myself) even noticed it in my tank, but i upgraded to halides (first 150 watt) and now im up to 250 watt halides and the coral is greener then ever and looks great...its amazing how corals react to strong light..

i have a pair of harlequin shrimp but they dont go near that star fish or the other brittle star fish i have in the tank..they only eat the ones i feed them. the madarin was the pschedelic one and he was eating when i bought him from the pet store. so i dont know how ..he was huge..well looked...
i have had it for over a year, and since adding metal halides it has started to spread..im not sure what it is, can someone id for me and if you know tell me if any special care is needed for it other then strong lighting..right now its perched up on rockwork that is about 14 inches directly...
