    Where's my wrasse?

Check the overflow as well. Might even be in the plumbing on it's way to the sump if you have one. Like others have said though...might just be hiding out till it get's comfy.

    55 Gallon Mixed Reef!

Their lights are built solid. I have the Photon24 over my 58 and love it.

    Feeding clams to my reef

Nice and simple. I haven't touched a clam since I almost cut my finger off doing this when I was about 15. I'm 40 now. hahahhhaha

    Hawkfish Love to eat shrimp!

Last year, I had a Blue Spotted Goby that I caught red handed...err.....finned eating my cleaner shrimp.

    Lion Fish

The talk of them being in our waters has been going on for a couple years now I think. I wonder what they taste like? Such a beautiful fish. I wish I had the room for one.

    55 to 75 upgrade

I feed a cube of "all in one" (forgot brand) and a cube of Mysis (same brand) every two days now. ReefCleaners get awesome reviews due to the fact that they always give more than what you order. I do see in reviews that they don't do that with the hermits though. I also don't know if they do...

    55 to 75 upgrade

ZERO DOA.... Since they have been in my tank, I see maybe a few empty shells. But I will tell you this, I have only had to clean my glass ONCE since setting up. Those little ones swarm the glass at night time. Plenty of snail eggs too. LOL I had cut back on my feeding in prepping for SPS...

    55 to 75 upgrade

I had ordered my CUC from Reef Cleaners since those guys ship you a ton more than you order. I ordered the package for a 58 gallon (no crabs). I got (stopped counting at 102) dwarf ceriths as part of the order. Those are the ones that have made it down to my sump because they are so small.

    55 to 75 upgrade

So you put him back in the DT? I think since I've had this 58 up and running, 1/3 of my snails have made it down to my sump.

    Barebottom

What I also dig about BB is that at night, I will sometimes take a flashlight to the underside of the tank. You would be amazed at what you can see from under there. This is how I saw a giant bristle worm (and many others) that were hiding under one of the rocks.

    Alk crash

I agree with the locks. I have caught my 3 year old opening the doors to the stand.

    Need Opinions

I swear I was thinking that same exact thing!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Yeah..a plastic hinged/rail window or something of that nature.

    Barebottom

Exactly! I'm hoping my GSP spreads on it.

    Barebottom

I tell you what... I NEVER would have thought that I would be running a bare bottom tank. I went from a DSB in a 75 to BB in a 58. At first I was like, "Yeah, i'll add sand later." Then I started getting used to it and i'm digging it now. One less thing to worry about.

    SPS Growth Question(s)

Ok...now that I have a couple SPS frags, I have a few questions. FLOW - I have an older K3 and my return which is a MAG7. Do I need more? I have heard that SPS will grow thicker, shorter the greater the flow. Less flow will amount to skinnier, taller branching. Is this true? GROWTH - Just...

    Shopping for a new skimmer

58 Gallon Oceanic "A new beginning"

Yes. That is a nice patch of GSP. I also have a patch of pink that has a few green mixed in with it. Not sure if it was from lack of light from previous owner or what. I don't remember the placement in the tank it came from. I'm thinking of putting the green on the back glass so that it...
