Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Always willing to help where I can ;)
Are you running stock lights on yours?
I'm thinking about scraping off the black stuff on the back of the tank at the 2nd chamber and running it as a fuge with a small PC light on the back. I have been tossing the idea around to do that or toss a small...
Well, I'm more than likely going to order the DIY kit and install it myself. You can send them your hood (BioCube, NanoCube, Aquapod etc) and they'll do it for free and mail it back, but I like to tinker ;)
I've done the PC Retros on Eclipse tanks in the past and they weren't too...
The 29 will be softies mostly...zoos, shrooms etc.. I'm planning on upgrading (eventually) to the Nanocustoms 4.36...all due time ;)
The 72 is a FOWLR tank. It's my wife's. Eventually, I hope to take it over though and turn it into a reef...muwahahaha
VBS:Malware-gen
Francis, VBS stands for "Visual Basic Script" and it's an issue others were seeing with Avast...

This is what you see, right? Only yours is version 080124-0. 2nd page of that thread looks like it got resolved for some folks...
Well, I figured I'd grab my little spot over here in Nanoville...
I didn't post anything while the tank was in its initial start up phase. Yay, an empty tank ::) Things have progressed pretty well though. Having been out of the 'sport' a while, it was (and still is) slow re-learning some stuff...
My wife heard me in my sleep last night saying..."frag, I just want one frag" ;D VERY impressive system Renee. Thanks for having everyone.
Seriously impressed with the group, the people, and the organization and the thought that went into everything yesterday! Heck, only a great bunch of...
Yeah, you definitely want to be careful posting email address in a text field that is viewable to the public...
Craigslist etc like Phil519 was saying. There are 'bots' or scripts that people can run on pages and they pick them out and then they harvest your info like that.
Another thing I've...
SWEET set up!! I'm SO jealous. My basement is like a dungeon and I spend more time down here than upstairs since I work from home a couple days a week :(
Now, my only question. Did you fill that big hole yet? ;D
I don't get any related to fish or reef stuff, but if anyone needs to buy some viagra, I could sure point you in the right direction.... ;D
One day I opened email and got about 40 in a row, then nothing for a week, then a couple here and there... ::)
OC & Cherry Hill. NICE!
I usually refer to them as "Big People Drinks" but I guess that will backfire at sometime when the kids get older. My 9 yr old is technically the same height as my spousal unit.....so..... it's only a matter of time before he catches on that if he's bigger than...
Depending on how you have your browser set up, you may have to right click on it and choose SAVE AS and save it to your desktop, then open it.
Or just PM Phil519 ;)
Re: Breakdown of members by area?
Ahhh Cape May. I've got a brother who's an officer in Lower Township ;) Been going down there since I was a little kid. My Grandparents lived there about all their lives over on TownBank, then Bayshore road and were big in Rotary and other things down there...
I could have sworn I saw this once a while ago, but I can't find it now. Is there any kind of breakdown or map that shows the areas where most members live?
Was just wondering (not looking to stalk ;D ) but it seems like the member base is heavily in North & Central Jersey and I was wondering...
just linked for the skimmer idea. I thought it was a pretty neat idea.
To my knowledge, the aquapod doesn't come with a skimmer either. I looked pretty seriously into buying one till I ran across the BioCube...
New Dilemna...
Skimmer or refugium? I don't mind doing water changes on such a...
Didn't mean for this to go that way, but I'll drop you a pm. was more looking for suggestions on a brand than anything... ;)
I guess what I'm wondering is, what other skimmers on the market will fit under the canopy to where the close without any issues, but work really well? (without having...
I was just reading about the SR3 Skimmer http://www.cprusa.com/products/skimmers.html that apparently from what I see fits perfectly in the 2nd chamber and does not hinder with the canopy. Also, it would seem from this link that the collection cup is accessible from the rear hatch.
Anyone use...
Not sure if they're under new management but was anyone in there this weekend? I was in this morning and saw atleast 5 or 6 fish taking what my daughter referred to as a "fish nap." :'(
Some were beautiful ones too. A georgous puffer stuck in my mind... a few others I think Angels or something...
