    PH concern

I considered running down to the LFS to get some RO water to start my 29 BioCube that's still in it's box and staring at me... ::) It's been KILLING me having it here for the past week or so and not be setting it up, but I'm picking up an RO from a member next weekend ;D at the meeting so I'm...

    LED Failures

I think Phil519 has some good points, but I think also perhaps the rating for the moonlights is for 'optimum circumstances' and well, sticking it close to the salinity and moisture impacts the longevity of them. I would think that might factor in. I know they're sealed...but...

    Tank Leveling...what's an acceptable range?

DEAD ON Accuracy. Now that's priceless at 1:30am :) Foam shims wrapped in vinyl worked VERY well. I'm tickled with it, and it's over 4 rafters so I guess that means I can sleep comfortable tonight ;) Sorta... You'd think I never set up a tank before ;) but I've never really had any problems...

    Tank Leveling...what's an acceptable range?

I got scientific :) I took some styrofoam and wrapped it with some vinyl that I use for lettering. Kind of making it encased in vinyl. I didn't want the weight to make the edges of the foam deteriorate or come apart over time. Kinda keeping it all wrapped together so the foam couldn't go...

    Tank Leveling...what's an acceptable range?

It's a wooden stand made for a 72 bow. I think it's pretty standard, but then again, bow's are somewhat unique, so I understand where you're coming from :) I think I have some 1/8" or 5/16'' styrofoam. I might see if that will help. It seems to lean slightly forward because each back corner is...

    Tank Leveling...what's an acceptable range?

We're placing (yes still) our 72 bow front and I've got a question...maybe you could help? We had it in one spot and didn't like it so we drained it into rubbermaid containers and moved it. We really like where we moved it to. It goes across 4 joists on a 45 degree angle in the corner of the...

Tank Placement - 72 Gallon Bow - Suggestions?

Thanks for the info and input :) I think we're going with spot B. There is a steel support beam in the basement close to it so I think that might be the best spot. My only other question... This is our first house with a Hardwood Floor in the living room. Is it a good idea to put maybe a...

Tank Placement - 72 Gallon Bow - Suggestions?

We do have a plan C but that would put it infront of a window and I think I'd rather risk the floor giving way then algae blooms :P

Tank Placement - 72 Gallon Bow - Suggestions?

50/50 hmm.. interesting ;) Yeah, I'm still going with a nano. This is going to be the spousal unit's FOWLR tank. Gotta make her happy! I guess I should have probably added that we are planning to move in 10 months or so...possibly so it could be there for only another 10 months to a year...

Tank Placement - 72 Gallon Bow - Suggestions?

The wife and I are discussing tank placement today. It will be FO with some live rock, not a ton. We have hardwood floors in our living room. Looking at the joists, they run in the same direction as the tank will if I put it where I want the tank to go :-\ We'll call that...Spot A I've read in...

Aquarium Discount Pet Center in Marlton

That is correct. Sunday was their last day. I asked them what they'd be doing with their remaining stock. I didn't realize it, but I guess they have a shop over on 130 and they're going to take it over there.

What?? This isn't set up yet? I was wanting to see FTS! LOL Rock looks good. Lots of color. I'm getting excited over here (yeah it's only 29BC). But tanks have a way of...uh...growing as you're seeing first hand ;)
