Woke up today to find him missing looked around the usual spots but he wasn't there... Looked at my purple reef lobster and there he was... half ate :'(

I get a bit of a shimmer with my t5's if you want you can add a few leds to add more shimmer. With the right bulb choice they can be better then MH. I run 4x54w T5's and they add around 1.5-2 degree's to my tank. (I think) I do run 2 CPU fans across the bulbs. I went T5's because i could get a...
Thats what i though... Although there are a few spots that are green can't see that being algae and the bottom is yellow-ish green last time i moved it... also slimey I'll go see if it smells.
EDIT: Tried to tell if it smelt but i smell something from it... Also moved it to the bottom. It fell...
I had some for about 6-8months then it just melted away... Umm anyways you could try taking the rock out and scrubbing it with a tooth brush to try and get the rest off...

Hob's always run the chance of getting air in them and making a mess... but their was a guy who drilled his 2 year old reef tank, just drained a 4th of the water so he could drill it. But IMO if it cracked you'd be screwed...
