I think most people know I work at the Howell Petco. Well, we just got in a nice shipment of fish from A&M Aquatics. One of them being a tiny little colored angler.
He was about 3/4 of an inch or so. I put him into a tank with a snowflake eel (which is in a critter keeper). We had a lunare...
Just picked up a gorgeous red Echinophyllia from Trop. A small question on it --
Where do you guys place it for optimum health and growth? Seen ranges all over -- high light, high movement, mid light, mid movement, etc. I have it towards the bottom of the tank right now (about 17 inches under...

The fish tank water -- and substrate -- was pink.
Bright, garish pink.
To my great disdain, I...

Any wholesaler around here open to the public? I live in Monmouth County but could easily drive an hour or two to check out a good wholesale facility and pick up some fish and/or coral.
They were at Tropiquarium for a few months now. Had my eye on them for a long time. $200 for the pair, but I got them for a pretty deep discount when I exchanged some fish that I needed to get out for them. Won't go into details there, though.
But man alive are these fish awesome. My new...
