i have the fission on my nano....thing is tricky to get functioning right..every other day it works funny...sucks too much water in the cup and not foam...im still playin with it to make sure i got it at the right level....tunze are the better brand of skimmers though i guess thats why the price...

Well last night i removed the fuge from the tank...i bought more live rock and arranged the rock towards the back part of the tank piled up about half way..it looks so much better now then before...i will have pics of the tank up tomorrow because i have work today and for some reason have a poor...

its funny if i had a lil bit bigger stand i could of upgraded the tank to a larger one without burning another hole in the pocket..but i have what i have and have to work with it...i understand my approach to this tank is not too favorable by those in the hobby and those helpful people that post...

i have slept on this thought last night...i have decided to keep the fuge in the tank...u may slaughter me with disbelieve or think it cant be done...i like when someone says i cant do something...its a challenge...how cool could i make this if it works...i have rethought my stock list...fish...

never had luck with my fan...i ended up throwing frozen 2 liter bottles of water in my tank...that helped maintain a temp of 80...thank god the heat is gone now i can relax and look forward to start throwin lil frags in hopefully in a month ...i plan on throwin in more rock first....

carlo u been more then helpful....im still deciding what route to go ...i have plenty of time cause i still have rock to add to the tank..decisions decisions...keep the ideas flowing

once i get the lighting up and running then we will talk...not rushing things though...just added live sand and trying to get some more live rock in it... nitrates and nitrites are coming down from bad...i am goin to do another water change tomorrow to help bring it down more hopefully

the reason i brought this topic up is to be honest i work there,,,not tryin to be sneaky or create bad feelings..its good to get both bad feed back and positive ....hopefully i will meet some of u guys when u come into the store,..just to say im not one of those kids that revolve in and out of...

changing set up which should please everyone besides myself...tankin fuge out and settin it up in a seperate tank...this way it will open up area and allow easier aquascaping...seemed like a good idea at the time and u dont know unless u try something....at least i have a back up tank to make...

the damsels are not staying in there ...just starter fish for the tank...plan on moving them to another tank when i add the other in it... picked up some formula one for them and gonna feed them that for now on... my in-tank fuge is in the tank tomight..put 10 pounds of live sand in tank...and...

dude im in the same boat as u are....i have a 20 gal...reef set up...im goin to be purchasing an ice probe with a controller to monitor the temp,..they run total for both around 150.oo and they can be used inside an aqua clear 20 filter...or bulkheaded into ur tank...im not goin that route dont...

its suctioned cupped right under the water line...so with that the lightin is goin to be good cause im gettin a fixture that is 65 watts ,,im trying to get all my live rock in the tank first, then imma get a chiller,then the light fixture...im not rushing the light cause im taking my time to put...

well it seems my tank is coming around...i did a water change again today and seen noticable changes in the nitrate and nitrites...ammonia still at 0...nitrate is at 40 and nitrites are still high but not as bad as before....believe it or not my scallop is a trooper still very lively and going...

whats ur opinion on this store?

i just received an idea of buildin my own chiller using a fan and peltzer off a coleman mini fridge...anyone have another plan on making a chiller or did anyone build a probe for their own tank..let me know
