Spray bars can be tricky getting the right amount of holes and size. Ultimatly it is your tank and your decision. Both should work well for you.

It's not the cheap thing. The way I have my plumbing set up I don't have threads at the end caps. It would mean redoing the ends of my return lines, or a little teflon tape.

Ended up using a little teflon tape and fittings went on the end of 3/4" pvc. I don't know of any problems teflon tape can cause over time if it breaks down, but the fittings are on. Any thoughts on the teflon tape?

Is there a way to connect 3/4" loc line fittings to PVC. I'm sure you can do it, but I spoke to Marine Depot and they said they don't sell anything. Any one done this with success?

Third on discount aquarium. Knew a friend that worked there and the owner figures that making the money on the tank is nothing compared to what he can make off all the accesories.

Just don't waste your money on a prizm skimmer. I still have two from my new to the hobby days that never worked properly and were a pain to adjust daily.

Have you tried a 3L soda bottle. You sould be able to make an opening big enough for a yellow tang to go in.
