Yes, it is an MS Access report. I don't have the alkalinity or magnesium test kits yet, that's why they aren't there. Also, just installed my new halides and I love them. Will post pics later.

I have no Alk test as of now.

Have new bulbs on the way but I just wanted to make sure that could be the problem so I don't chase a phantom Problem that might not exist.

Will 2 year old halides cause a brown algae to form on the sand bed? My parameters where good last i checked 4 days ago and will again today. I will post them after.

ding ding ding!!! after looking at the web sites for Hamilton tech and oshio it seems the oshio need a pulse start ballast Hamilton's have self starter(bulbs came with a Hamilton retrofit)

I have a set of single end 10,000k coralife bulbs that are over a year old and i bought same bulb from ushio turned them on and they went out after about 10 seconds. I put old bulbs back and they work fine. 175w single end 10,000k only visually difference is new bulbs have slightly smaller...

In that case i will call them harvey wallbangers. ;D

I was doing the minimal dose of purple up and didn't expect to be that high. as for the test yes i was shaking between drops but as yo know there isn't a very definitive line between purple and blue in this test. i will run the test again tomorrow to be sure.

It is an API kit i just bought i have bean dosing with purple up which is a calcium booster i just didn't have a test kit till now i will lay off till it is a good level between 400-500. Just wanted to know if i am going to hurt any thing with that much.
