    A few tank breakdowns

Well-I don't mean everything Tony listed, I meant the first tank and all-this: "1 55 tank is reef ready corner overflow with 2x4 stand,4 bulb t5 lights, euroreef skimmer, mag pump asking $150 OBO". So please everyone the other stuff is certainly still available. (I realize what I posted could be...

    Tebowmania comes to NY

LOL you said it! Tebow is certainly "interesting". Good? Not so much, although I definitely think he can have a pretty good future. I think the real story is the Broncos and Manning. Peyton is getting hit and essentially retired with in the first 5 games next season, or at the very least he has...

6' Black Canopy for sale or trade $50 or frags

Gotcha-it won't be too long before radion like stuff is pretty competitively priced. In the interim AI makes some nice fixtures, but they are also considerably more expensive than the other fixtures.

    Painful Decision

A lot of people in this hobby like to be the "tang police" or otherwise tell you "the only way it will work". Well, they can all suck it, there can be many possible solutions to many problems, how the hell would anyone find new ways to do things if we just keep doing the same old thing? I'm not...

    Red bugs

OK-so the first interceptor dose was done today. I could not get my large emerald or my cleaner shrimp out, ( I tried for hours a day, for a couple days). As such, I lost the cleaner shrimp, and I do not know yet about the emerald. However the good news-There are no more red bugs, my fuge is...

    Wrasses

While he certainly not a model citizen, I think Mystery wrasses get a bad rap. Mine does no damage, no nipping either, and is not particularly aggressive towards anyone. (they are more "sneaky" though"). This may also be because I have a "boss wrasse" in the tank that keeps everyone in line...

    Wrasses

I can speak with personal experience that multiple fairy (cirrhilabris) can go together quite well. I have C. rubrisquamis, C. aurentidorsalis, C. solarensis, C. lubbocki. I also have a flasher, and another flasher that jumped out. Also, I had a C. adornatus in there with the other cirrhilabris...

    Red bugs

Olivier my friend-thanks for the offer, but these guys will not be hurt by the Flat worm exit. Darren-That is encouraging to hear that at least these are a fairly easy pest, by reef pest standards. Thanks for all the help guys. I started prepping for the treatment tonight, which includes...

    Red bugs

Hey Bax, What is your experience with host preference and life cycle length for these guys? Did they seem to attack millipora too?

    Red bugs

Thanks for the tank compliment! I'm pretty sure they are red bugs, judging on some of the photos I've seen so far. I've heard that the interceptod treatment might be ok for the snails, but might be a no-go for clams. I am certainly not risking my clams, they are one of my favorite things ever...

    Red bugs

Found something from michigan reefers about using the commensual acropora crabs to eat them. I was kind of hoping to hear that, it was my first thought for a treatment. Just need to find some acro crabs now...

    Red bugs

Hey All, So it appears that I have red bugs on some of my colonies. Now this is not a definitive identification, but they they are on acropora colonies of various types, they are small and red, and the look like bugs LOL. Jonathan noticed them when he was taking pictures of my colonies during...
