Maybe the most simple thing is in order for a change. If she is good at riddles, send her on a scavanger hunt where the last step is a hand written poem right before handing her jewelry or something.
Take a look at this (updated today with tank pics) review of the EcoTech's. http://www.3reef.com/forums/led-aquarium-lighting/updated-ecotech-marine-radion-xr30w-up-close-123263.html
I wouldnt spend the money to just fix the magnet. With it looking like that, i'm sure that the bushing and other internals on the wet side should be replaced at the same time as well. If not today, down the road when you get the money up. I'm going to take mine apart later on tonight to see...
wow.. That looks like the screw was tightened too much to cause that crack. I'm not defending the guy but if it was/is still working, it might be possible that it was like that from the factory. Unless there IS a vibration caused from it. Have you ran it yourself?
If it still works, I would still use it. If it's just cracked, it should be fine unless the pieces move. You can always use a spare wet side though. (I need to get one myself).
I have a good imagination. I almost threw in to have a tame monkey jump on the table with it to hand it to her but thought that might be one extreme to the next. hahahaha
How about having a personal chef cook for just the two of you in a nice outdoor setting with live classical music. Even though it's only your 38th, surprise her with a piece of jewelry of some sort. But don't just hand it to her. Have it planted in something that she will find throughout the...
As I stretch the use of my 6 T5 bulbs to the limit, I have been wondering if I should make the switch to LED. As much as DIY sounds good, it's not me. So I have been looking at the AI Sol Blue. Of course, they sell 48" kits that have 4 units but I think that's overkill. Would 2 units be good...
I checked and Fios is not available in my area yet. I dumped the package I had with Comcast after recently putting an indoor HDTV antenna up. I get all the stations that Philly transmits. Most of which in HD quality that is better than Comcast's HD quality. I get all the major networks in...
Is the option to cut and make a door on the side of the stand to just slide it in/out possible? I plan on doing this with a new sump build. I have seen this demonstrated online. Can't find the link right now but I believe it was Melev's site that showed them doing this. Not on a bow though.
