is used for it, but the chemistry behind it, is that help the corals use the PO4, because corals suck at absorbing it, but they are good at absorbing NO3, corals can live in a 0 N03 environment but need some PO4, Bio pellets feed bacteria that will uptake the PO4 and then corals will feed on them.
@Humblefish , the carbon dosing thing is more about making the corals absorb the PO4, to removed N03 and PO4 it can be done with mega water changes, and with biopellets if is done slowly you are most likely to avoid the stringy bacteria

lol @Humblefish I was just thinking about this, that the new way we do reef tanks don't have the necessary biodiversity and I think this might be a problem, most of us start now with dry rock and don't have the bacteria we need for the long run, I started a 120g tank, and I add different kind of...
do anyone have any idea where to buy real wet life rock here in north jersey, i am looking for some of it, not much just trying to put some more diversity of bio culture in my tank
TIA
Gabe
well.... i don't agree with everyone, keep doing water changes as much as you can, and just dose a 2 part that it, do not dose anything till your alk is back in check, good luck
those cups are good for a while but if the anemone is not happy in the spot it will move eventually, in my wife tank she got one for her nem, and it was not happy and keep moving all over the place
Hell no, they posted that so just sharing, the club don't like people reaching out for group buys, so just sharing a good idea, let the powers to be reach to the companies
