well i am gettin MH for this tank...LED would be way to expensive to create....I ordered a hood alread that is made of wood, one of matt geko's hoods....I just pray that the heat will be under control...and i will get an auto top off...sigh...more money :)

i am deciding that the lighting right now is bad for my frags. So either i am going to get and extra PC making it 6 WPG, i like PC cause the run cool and it allows me to put my lights on longer. Or get MH lighting, i could mod that bad boy in there easily. Pro= more then enought light + growth...

Okay, so i just got the rio nano skimmer, its great and actually works. I promise to take more pics one my freaking lighting arrives...

haha this is my 3rd 2.5 with MH lighting. The temps stay around 78-80 in the summer.

Starting a small nano, will have a 70 Watt MH light, Iceprobe,refugium, rio nano skimmer. So far i already have a rainbow monti, and superman monti in the tank. I am looking to get zoas and some GSP to throw in the tank. I will update with pics when i can.

i would go with the MH lighting, so you can end up doing sps. You can get away with some sps under t-5's but MH is the way to go for the whole thing.. Also you will need to have a good amount of flow in the tank, as well as a clear water, i would recommend a skimmer and a refugium or sump...Just...
