Just checking to see who got a Red Gorgonian from the TB group buy. The polyps on mine have yet to come out, day or night. Anyone else who has one, do you have the same problem ?

Best bet is a 24" T5 light. Not sure how long the tank is though, might be a little overhang. I'm not sure if they make them smaller but do a search.

If zoas are on a disc, how do they grow beyond the disc, in other words do they spread out beyond the disc kind of like creating a mat ? Thanks Rich

Mott I agree with you, for me it's real hard to choose from a pic online ans a $20 + a bulb it makes it even harder. I'm no LFS would let you take a bulb home to see if you like it. So are there any offers for me to invade someones privacy ;D

I think from what I have been reading that the ATI might rate best, but let's hear it from personal experience. The main question really is, would I see a big difference in replacing the stock Nova Extreme bulbs.

I got like that before I moved it to less light. It went from this: To This: So I moved it to lower light less flow. [size=4]So I hope it will heal in that spot.

My Acan is getting grey on the top, losing some of the orange. It's been at the bottom of the tank center, direct lighting. It was there for quite a few months. Anyway I decided to move it to a more shaded area, with a little less flow. Any ideas ? Thanks Rich
