    Can I add Marco rock to an established tank?

    When I was curing 40 lbs of marco rock I started with a clean container, 3 months later I had a 1" accumulation of detritus in the bottom of the container. It my house smelled like {fill in the blank}. I vote for Cycling the rock first, outside or away from your main living space.

    Raise the fixture after adding the new bulbs. The corals will be ok for a couple of days with no lights. It's not always sunny in the wild.

    I put some in my sump when I had my fowlr. They lived for a couple of weeks and then died. Not sure what was missing, if it was a diet thing s or the temp. just keep an eye on them becuase if they die they wil spoil your water. Jose

    When building the tank please do not forget the most important part......Pictures tons and tons of pictures. :D This is a virus, I was supposed to break down at the begining of the summer but only got far enough to sell my corals, and 3 months later the tank is still running. Good Luck. J

    I had one of those. I liked it a lot. It was easy to clean and I had no leaks the couple of months I had it running. Not sure why marinedepot charges $10 more than premium aquatics...

    I ordered one for last year's swap but it wasn't delivered. The seller was going to send me one but I did not want to bother with shipping. The price was way cheaper at the swap.
