Do you foresee any problems if I add sand a few weeks from now?

Starphire is definately worth it but I afraid of adding sand because of how easy starphire scratches. So that mean I can't get the flame wrasse I wanted.

The marco rock is very easy to work with. I will be using them for all my future tanks. I will be buying a few hundred lbs at this years swap to put away in storage for my future fowlr.

The connection on the VIA feels some much more secure than the TLF. I will be more than happy to give a review after a couple of media changes.

I used the Two Little Fishies before and liked it, I owned two new version and the old thumb screw version, but this time around I gave the ViaAqua reactor a try. I found that the ViaAqua is better built than the TLF and they included a pump for the same price as the TLF...

I would shorten the last baffle. That's a high drop for the water and will create a lot of bubbles. If you need to use table saw for any cuts let me know.
