I check every piece I buy under a magnifying glass and I just found out within the last couple of days I have AEFW fortunately I don't have many acro colonies just a couple of frags I'm definitely going to set up a QT/ frag tank to prevent this in the future

the two colonies I found infested I dipped in TLF revive worms came off the eggs stuck I checked every other acro in the tank and see no evidence of eggs or the worms gonna do a betadine dip and a revive dip just to be sure and keep an eye out Chris I';ll give you a call tomorrow Thanks! frank

just found out I have AEFW lost 2 colonies the rest look OK but want to dip them LMK if u still have levamosole or where I can get it want to get it straighten out so I dont import it to the 450! Thanks! Frank

I know the sponges you are referring to they don't do well in the aquarium and will quickly contaminate your tank as they decline they prefer cooler waters and strong current

If all the water parameters check out you might have had a temp spike I've cleaned my filter socks with Bleach, double rinse with no problems I only use a small amount of bleach ( septic systems where I live and bleach is a no no) again sorry to hear about the loss I can spare a frag or 2 LMK

you'll also find the PH is rather low also, 7.8-7.6 this is due to the small quantity of water in the bag and the ammonia waste the fish produces. I've been told by a couple of wholesalers that fish aren't as active in lower PH. not sure if I agree, but in any case take your time dripping any...
