Since you are going fish only I would stick with 2 T5’s. Less heat, and with summer coming hanging a MH in your living room will heat up that space, they cost less, the bulbs last about 18+ months and you won’t have to worry about the center brace. Jon

If you want to try drilling it yourself the Aquarium Center in Blackwood will rent or lend you the drill bit. What size bulkhead are you going to use? I have drilled many tanks (only my own tanks) and it is really easy if you take your time and don’t heat up the glass. Jon
