Beautiful coral. I have green slimer frag that was about 3/4 inch in April. Now it's about an inch and a half with nodes growing. The color is awesome.
Seems to be a slow grower.
I hope it look like yours in another year! ;)

Sup all?
I have a green Turbinera frag that I purchased from pacific east in July. It was doing fine and growing well up to two weeks ago when I remounted my torch about 5-6 inches below it. Some of the polyps retracted on the side near the torch and the holes have a brown film covering them...
I called Current USA for tech support. We went over the type of bulbs, he thought that they were the problem, but I explained that it was happening with both sides and that they were changed in July.
They said it's not the ballasts, because they either work or they don't.
He Suggested that I...
I have my open brain, mid level in my tank (use 2-150 HQIs and two 130 Watt actinic) feed Mysis them every other week, feed the tank cyclops twice a week and dose with strontium and iodine weekly.
That's it.
The bulbs are current USA. From what I've noticed it warms up to peak out at the pink color when it happens. Then it starts the next day just fine.
Thanks,
Erik
Guys, I recently upgraded my 10K bulbs to 14K on my Current outer orbit fixture.
I love the color that the current 14K bulbs produce, but I have been experiencing some "off color" issues at start up once in a wile.
Whats happening is that sometimes when the ballast turns the bulbs on, one may...
I have been using two part solutions since I started my tank in November. In the beginning I was using it through cycling and with no corals, my calcium was too high, so I simply stopped using it until I had the correct parameters.
Since then It has been working like a charm for me. If my Cal...
No, I just asked around to get opinions. Most reefers seem to think that the fish are already dead and just so happen to touch him.
My fiancee is pissed! I over payed big time for that fish too...
Anyway, the chromis have been fighting recently (I was warned), and I did notice the the stomach...
Guy's I found my pipe fish dead this morning. My tongue coral was sucking on it's body when I found it.
Two weeks ago the same coral had a green chromis half way in it's body.
Do I need to get rid of this thing, or is it this a coincidence?
The only other copod eating fish in the tank is a 6...
Mike, I have the same setup but with 150s and 130w compacts. I just switched over to 14K from current that I purchased from pet solutions for $50 and I love the color. It took me 8 Mos. to finally give up on the 10Ks but I'm glad I did.
You also have the option to swap out one of the t5 for the...
Thanks Guys. The depth is 18" so were looking for a 12" wide 24" tall and 18" deep.
The dimensions don't have to meet those above, but that's pretty much what were working with minus some room above for the water inlet hose and existing wall outlets.
Thanks,
Erik R.
Guys, I need a local contact to build a wet/dry for a 150 Gallon "regular saltwater" tank in Burlington.
The dimentions will need to be 12" wide by 24" tall.
Please let me know if you know of a good local source.
Thanks,
Erik
