I've recently upgraded my lighting system on my 75 gallon reef to metal halide. This has left me with a 48" T-5 setup. I have it mounted in a hood for a 75 gallon tank, however you could very easily take it out and incorporate it into something else. I have two icecap 660s powering seven bulbs...
I'd be interested in the pair. I just need to get my 220 set up. Can you hold them for a little while or is that not possible??
The tank is just completing it's cycle. Waiting for everything to stabilize. I couldn't tell by the pics, but have they shown any signs of nipping at corals or anything?
Hey. Is the light for sale? I'm looking for one for my 75 reef. I think it would be perfect. If you could let me know as soon as you can I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
Hey -
Beautiful gonipora. Where are you located? I'm not overly familiar with the lighting requirements of the species though. Can it be raised under T-5 lighting or does it need Metal Halide? If the T-5 works I'll take it. I can pick it up later this week. Thanks,
Jim.
P.S. PLease email me...
Hey. I'm putting feelers out to see if anyone would have a 72" Metal Halide /T5 (or power compact or comparable) that they are willing to part with? I'm trying to set up a 210 gallon reef and haven't had much success. A buddy of mine gave me an Aqualight Pro for free. After I tried to replace...
Hey. Is the lighting fixture still available? I'm trying to replace my lighting system for my 210 gallon reef without breaking the bank. Is this a full fixture or a retrofit? I know that wattage would be enough for the tank but I'm concerned about the length. Thanks.
2- 250w se ushio 10k used for 1 week, basically brand new- 45 for both
The Ushio 250s. Are they double ended and will they fit into a coralife fixture?
I appreciate the feedback. I certainly want to do the right thing and, from my research, think I'm going to for go the whole shark idea. They seem to be best left in the wild or in a much larger tank than I can house. I appreciate you input though. Thanks.
Ok. Well, the reason I posted on this website was so that I could talk to people that may have owned a shark of some kind. In addition, I'm telling you what my local pet store, one of which I received through this website, suggested. As to asking whether I've done any research, this is exactly...
Hi. I'm in the process of setting up a 220 gallon reef tank and was wondering if there were any reef safe sharks that would be able to be housed. Someone at a local pet store mentioned a horn shark would be a suitable inhabitant. In addition, I'll be setting up a 150 gallon FOWLR and wanted to...
Hey. I'm interested in your frags, do you have any left?? Any montipora, acropora? Zoos?? Let me know. Please email me at jsweeney76@yahoo.com Thanks. Jim
Hey. I just found the best fish store I think I've seen in 15 years. It's called the Hidden Reef and is at 4501 New Falls Road in Levittown, PA. They have absolutely anything you can think of. The fish are absolutely beautiful and the selection is awesome. I went in there after I couldn't find...
Ok. I've been out of the hobby for a couple of years, but am going to be getting back into it with a Red Sea Max 65 gallon system. A friend of mine is getting rid of it and from what I can tell he has about 65 lbs of live rick in it already. The question I'm still trying to answer is whether I...
