Yea im going to get it checked for copper today to be on the safe side. No i dont have a mantis shrimp. Ive only tried coral banded shrimp and peppermint shrimp in my tank for now. Gonna hold of on adding any new shrimp until its checked for copper

I have a hippo tang, pair of picasso clowns, and a yellow wrasse. But i dont believe them to be aggresive towards them because they would visit the shrimp for cleaning. The salinity is set at 1.025 specific.

Ive been told high nitrate can kill off corals. I had a rose anemone that closed all up and took back to lfs until i get the nitrate lower. How can i set up a refugium? Someone told me with a 55g a refugium wont help much

Im having a problem getting my nitrate levels back to 0. Right Now its between 10 to 20 ppm. I keep doing water changes and removed all the bio balls. Wont seem to lower below 10 ppm. Any thoughts to what i can do?
