Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Thanks Nikki and Mike it was great meeting you, and everyone else. You have a beautiful house, and seeing your system my wife has agreed to the basement fish room and a dedicated room for my tanks! :) Once we are in the new house and get the remodel done I will be contacting you for advise on...
I have some Dragons Breath macro that I can clip if anyone would like it.. I will check the thread and pm's before I head out.. If not I'll bring some for raffles.
I know livestock is an issue, but what about contacting gulf coast ecosystems for a macro group buy.. His shipping is fairly cheap at $15 maybe he can work out a price list for us on some nice prices or something.
Also, would love an LED group buy.
Fish and corals are always welcome even...
Realized I typed bio cube instead of nano in my original post..

I had a rapid LED retrofit and it supported sps and clams well in my NC 12.
If I was to...
They have a nano cube 28 quad PC for $99 as one of their door busters. It's on the main page. I believe it is a call in at a certain time. Might be worth giving that a shot.. With the extra 900 saved you can get some kick *** LED retro kits, a stand and stock the tank.. :) Might be worth the effort.
My main salt tank is a 29 bio cube led. I haven't had issues with any type of coral as long as it is placed properly.
Here is a quick shot I just took.
If you notice any on the glass shine a flashlight on them and look closely you will see little dots in them. I thought they weren't hatching for me, and then I did a sand bed mix with the squirter and we have what had to be hundreds of them on the glass that night.
Yes, I saw that thread and will be building one myself :)
I pick him up tomorrow, and he will be first spending time in a shower caddy to observe him / make sure he is eating. It's the same style my fuge is made out of. I was going to just use a specimen container, but I these are pretty open...
You know, the LED retro fit kits for the biocube are pretty cheap now. I don't know of the size you have, but it's something to think about. I had one, but decided not to sell or trade it because one of the LED's fried on it. I am pretty handy with building if you needed a hand putting it...
