Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I think a blanket range is a bit misleading. It does depend a bit on what you have in your setup. For example Australian stuff does much better at 73-75 than 79-80. Lowering our frag tank from 79 to 74 did wonders for our corals. They are a lot happier.
How are you measuring salinity?
Could just be unrelated events. If you bumped a power head or changed the water flow in anyway, your RBTA will likely move.
It's a typical easy/moderate to keep LPS type coral. Primarily photosynthetic, but enjoys feedings. They get much bigger than their skeleton. I had one that opened to 3-4 times the diameter of it's skeleton.
Can anyone recommend a tank builder? I need to get a nice shallow display tank built for frag swaps and such. Looking for something say 2x2 or 3x3 with removable compartment dividers, etc.
How can I do it without using my arm as the testing probe? I have neuropathy and have tingles normally. I think I got a bit more today, but again, not sure and the gfci did not trip.
That is just sick. I had my dogs poisoned with antifreeze (one was a seeing eye puppy) and never had any complaints before hand.
Also had a dog duct tape from head to toe (looked like the dog in something about mary, but even worse). Luckily we found it in time and got the tape off so it could...
Check out www.marinebreeder.org, lots of breeding experts over there...though haven't seen any talk about tangs, always thought they were near impossible to get to breed except in large public aquariums.
