I had red dragon from Darren. Grew crazy. Herbiek has some from me and Juano got some from the last meeting at his house. It is odd in that it either grows crazy or just rtn. I loved it not so much for the color but for the intricate form. My all time favorite coral is true hawking so echinata...
Be careful as sentinel also contains lufenuron. This is a flea control means where it inhibits chiton syntheses. The egg tooth on the hatching larvae is made of chiton....as is the exoskeleton of adult fleas. You can't live if you can't hatch and you also can't live if you can't morph. If you...
I have a refractometer you can use if you want. No set up for me as of yet. Also check the back compartments for the clown, in my 12 gal cube my Benny used to routinely get into back chamber somehow. Feed tiny bits till fish get used to you. The salinity is difficult if you are using a swing...
Well I moved last July. Old house should close on 4/15. All my stuff is in dry dock down in basement. No real plans right now. Talk to me at the end of the year.lol
Slow down, your tank is no way mature/ready for any sps. Try the gsp, zoos and enjoy them for a few months ( yes I said months). The last thing you need is all this new coral and not a mature enough tank causing lots of die off. It's no fun. Check out some of our tale of the tank threads to get...
Just keep the tank as is for now. You will change as you go, lots of good advice here but Kevin ( kschweer) said it best, go slow. Just keep watching your tank and look at threads here, esp. Tank builds and all the DIY with it. But really don't go crazy yet, just watch and learn.
Cheers,
Pete
I find one public fatality is the best bet.Nothing like seeing your buddie drop dead to think relocation is the safer option. They can do a lot of damage if left alone.
I have a teeny tiny 8 gal nano Paul. I promise when my other house sells I will set that up. It currently has in it at the old house on autopilot....GSP, and a toadstool softie. Have not done a water change since July and top off with well water from tap.....and they still live!!!
