    I generally place my new zoas in shaded areas on the sand bed until they acclimate to my lighting. I find this betters my success rate with new zoas. hth.

    you could always put the rock with mushrooms in higher flow - most mushrooms dont like high flow.

    also you might try checking for pests at night. thats the best time to catch nudis, for example. If you successfully remove them you will be surprised how quick they open back up. good luck.
