in all honesty though, bob was just pointing out that the materials for this can be had for about 15$ and all the work you have to do is cus a slit in flex pipe & the 2 rings & slide them through the mesh & viola... not an "all day" project by any means.

I just put my rocks through acid bath & then cured it in my newly started tank. I didnt bother bleaching as I figured the acid bath would get it all. also ALWAYS add acid to water, not the other way around.

all I've seen is mostly Cured or uncured live rock. I know hidden reef had texas holey rock last time I was there, but I'm looking for marco type stuff. I'm building a peninsula 40B & want to be pretty specific when it comes to picking pieces. Thanks!
