Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Glad that you found out what was wrong, and hopefully it will the start of the Yellow Brick Road leading to recovery! But my problem is with the other 3 doc's who found nothing wrong? Now I am not the "sue" type, but those three doctors names are not Dr "Mal", Dr "Pract" and Dr "Ice" are...
Bracing the floor? I assume that you mean in the basement? (if the tank is on the first floor). It all depends on where the tank is and what way the floor joists are running. If the tank is near an outside wall and the floor joists run perpendicular to the stand that is a better situation than...
Seems like you have a decent amount of flow. Maybe it is not a flow problem? How much do you have your lights on? Have you tested for Phosphates?
I have seen many tanks with minimum flow and not going crazy with hair algae. I think you need to look at other things other than flow.
Well.....
I plan on drilling holes in the conduit to run the wires through using rubber grommets. Then to hang I have not decided yet. I just may use some eye hooks drilled right though with decorative caps. I also though about running wire through the conduit so I can actually change the...
I had asked the same question when I participated in the GB on MR.
I was told that the GB pricing is the pricing when you buy the maximum number of that item. So the price of the single item would be the same as if you bought say 5 of them.

!! That wood is only there for support will caulking dries !!
Well here it is set up in its new location. It looks really nice if i have to say myself. Now to just get the rest of the plumbing done (drains) and then get water in this bad boy.
Lights are still a work in progress, but since no lights needed for the cycle then no big deal. I hope to have...
Up to you what type you want to get. Many people have 2 diff types. I want to get a snowflake and a platnium for my new tank.

The inertia of the water in the tank is going to magnify the movement, so without water, i am betting that you will not see any more movement.
The weight will actually make the tank move more. How much movement are we talking about here? How much pressure is needed to cause the movement...
Well if the swap is always this weekend will be tough. It is Teacher's Convention, so the wife and kids are off. :)
2 summers ago we did Baltimore, went to Yanks game and did sight seeing...
When you mean wobble, do you mean just movement? If the stand did not move before you added the water to the tank then it should be level or at least shimmed so there is no movement.
For example my 28 nano is level and no wobbling in the stand, But when it is full and I clean it the whole...
