I have a large Purple-Green tipped Frogspawn and my Clowns started hosting right away. Now they have a clutch of eggs under it. I was worried that it may sting the eggs, but no problems. Keep zoos a distance from it, it will do a number on them.

My Experience, I now have a grove of 30 + trees.
They are harmless, no toxins, will not damage any other corals that they come into contact with.

Found this on a Zoo colony from Trop, I assumed that it was just part of the rock then I noticed lashes coming out. I put it on a frag plug for now with rock still attached, its the light circle with the Eagle eye zoo. Assuming a Plate Coral?
My advice, TOSS IT! Are you dipping for parasites? It may be harmless but it looks like a zoo eating Nudi. One can be cute, but in the predator free tank, the possibility of hundreds can happen!

I have the same thing on a few frags, seems documented that the Aragocrete Reef Plugs have a occasional tendency to promote algae growth on the plug and surrounding area. Perhaps they leach something because this can happen is a tank that is algae free.

First of all, the look, under actinics some corals, zoos and macro just glow. I do the dawn and dusk cycle, I feel its more natural then just blasting them with full spectrum.
