I got the uvl 454nm setup and running all i can say is WOW what a difference 2 days now and the corals are going crazy with happiness tons of polyp extension and the colors are just popping out

That should be perfect for your tank. If you plan on putting sps in your tank i would get a 4 bulb t5ho setup just have to get one that will fit your tank. you could either buy it new or there are some great people on here that might be selling a used one that would work for you

Thanks for the insperation guys it's done I made a shelf made mounted the bulbs to that brought them to where the mh reflector stops and mounted it now i just have to get a reflector to put under the bulbs

How much can you cut down on them before you loose efficiency? I want to try and make some room in the hood to put one more actinic bulb in there but the mh reflectors take up so much room
