Phyl, How much would you be selling the rock for? If I get it from an established system it will benefit me down the road.

I'm thinking about getting rocks for the possible new setup I'd be getting. I was wondering if anyone could share their experiences with Marco Rocks? I have alot of rocks in the current 30 G setup. I'd prob use them as base rock in the new tank. I'd have to say I have at least 80-90 lbs of rocks...

Wow sweet deal, and your current tank is looking really good. I'm still REALLY new at this but just take your time and don't make snap decisions. Research your stuff and always ask if your not sure. Keep on posting those awesome pics. Good luck with your 40 breeder.

Would a sump pump work actually? I just remembered I have one! Like put the pump into the tub container and put the hose in the tank. That could work I think?

I have several like garden hoses in the garage, anyway they could factor into this?

Stuff I had was spreading like a beast all over the tank and it was all over my corals, disgusting. It was bubbly as well, it was all over the sand and would come off in like patches.

I just got through with this crap, Red Slime it is actually. Get yourself some Chemi-Clean and you'll be set. Just really follow the directions on there. Trust me, the stuff will grow back no mater what you do. Are you using RO/DI water as well?

Couldn't I just put the bag of the SeaChem stuff between the baffled area I have in my HOB fuge?

Could I actually setup 2 media bags with stuff? One with the phos. remover where the other filter pad was and one where the water is coming out??
