Picked up the 75G tank yesterday from the Hidden Reef. Dance I just noticed I might have to shim the stand a bit. Dang it, need to make a Lowes run tomorrow. What type or shims do you all use? also, the Wiff just told me she would not be against the idea of me using part of the storage...

OK..... Done Deal. Just picked-up a stand for a 75G tank with a 30G sump. (thanks TanksNstuff) I will be starting a new thread documenting my adventure in full detail. :p Need to call the LFS to order the tank now.

Thanks for the link Mikem. However I think I will be going with a Deep Blue rimless 75G tank. Not sure about the stand yet or what type of overflow to use. (Durso, Herbie, etc..)

I know man....I have been drooling at the Reefer and Cadlights tanks for some time now. My only issue now is that I already have a Maxspect R420R 160W I just got from Ebay for a good price and now I wont be able to use it on a 48 in tank. :mad: O well.....

Awesome.... Lets hope it holds up then. Can any of you point me in the right direction then? I have a budget of around $1300 for tank + Stand + sump. What do you all recommend? I am pretty handy, however I have never built a stand before. :(

Hello NJRC! I'm Sal, and I am returning to the best hobby in the planet after roughly 7 year hiatus (forced). Had to move to Germany! got stationed in Ramstein AFB. Been living in Lumberton for 3 years and now that we are all settled down and loving life. Its time to get back in to it again...
