The bottled bacteria is cheap enough whether it works or not anything will help. Im probably going to run the dry rock in a tub for a week then finish off curing it when i set the tank up.
Thanks for the info Judeo ill look i to that skimmer.
I was thinking of getting the BRS gfo carbon...

So I was going to just upgrade the 20 gallon tank I have setup into a 40b but I figured id go bigger. Im going to keep the 20 up and running and start a 75 gallon. Im hoping to get the build started soon and up an running within a month.
Its going to be mostly LPS/softies but I would like a...
Im planning to set up a standard 75 gallon tank and I cant decide on lights. I wanted to go with T5s but not sure which to get. I was thinking about getting the ATI 4x54w fixture or the current usa 4x54w. Would 4 bulbs be enough or would I need 6 for a mixed reef, sps/lps/softies. Or should I go...
I dont run any filter media on my 20 gallon. Only time i do is after water changes i put a hob on with filter fiber to remove anything that i blew off my rock work. If you have the room in the chambers just run some carbon and occasionally filter fiber or pads to help remove waste here and there...
Ive got one green chromis in my 20gall that im giving away because I plan to get a pair of clowns and don't want to overstock the tank. Eats well and is healthy. I will probably bring it to a LFS within the next couple days unless someone replies fast. I'm in Fords. PM
I could use like 40-50lbs of the rock, don't know how much you have. Let me know when you find out what you have and I can come pick it up. Thanks for your generosity!
I would take some of the dry rock, a 30gall unless you have a 40b and the skimmer. PM address
I live 30 minutes away from bridgewater I can come tonight if you want.
I am definitely interested, from what ive read online they are just so hard to keep but maybe they weren't credible sources. Do you run a chillier to maintain your temp? and definitely let me know about the course I would be interested in looking into them.
Hey, get ready to hear from the tang police. Some people will probably chime in and tell you not to keep those tangs in a tank under 100+ gallons, the yellow tang will probably be fine in a 55 since I had one in my 55 fowlr and know other people who have also but the hippo might outgrow the 55...
