Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
What's the big deal? She'll get over it. Just wait until she sees 50+ people, drinking beer, carrying around leaky plastic bags with frags in them, it's all fun. ;D
Bring on 100 people for the March meeting! ;D
I got home and RAN downstairs to check things out since Brian won't be home for a while. All of the corals and clams look normal. Clown goby is still fine, eyelash blenny is fine, both of the clowns, cleaner shrimp and the rest of the inverts all look alive and well. Checked the skimmer, sump...
All of the fish looked normal, just dead.
I'm not sure where a toxin would've come from. Nothing has been cleaned, pained, etc down there.
Maybe Brian gave them the flu. He had the flu for the last week and has been perched on the couch down there.
Daniel, sorry about your wife, she sounds like a real peach.
As for Brian's wife, that would be me. No I didn't put bleach in that tank. Rich is correct, I would never harm a living creature (other than a human maybe). I love that tank, those fish, and this club as much as he does. I have a...
Ah, I love that people combine Plainfield with South Plainfield. The two towns are like night and day. And don't forget the million dollar + section of Plainfield. Mcgrevy and his boyfriend just bought a house there for a few million. Not exactly somewhere you want to send your kids to public...
I can honestly say, no not really. I find they look nicer under a macro lens with a good camera and a little photoshop than they look with the naked eye in a tank.
I can't believe people pay $40+ per head for those!
I used to be all about corals that have flow but now I think some of the...
I know I'll probably be in the minority by saying this but I wouldn't pay a penny for any zoas. I just don't see the appeal and/or the beauty in them that everyone else does.
John - next time I see him I'll ask him. I'm sure he'd love to take us diving. He's even told us to come down to the keys when he's there in the winter for some fishing & diving. He fishes for grouper down there as soon as he hooks one he puts on a tank and dives in to get it.
I fish on the Ocean Explorer on Fridays all summer. I'm not sure if he's gone to FL yet for the winter but Bobby Quinn is a great captain... he's a diver too that kept asking me and Brian to go diving with him last summer but we never got around to going.
