Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
I'd vote for option 2. If the 200DD is what you have your heart set on, I'd hold off for that. Option 1 might cost a little more in the long run with setting it up the first time and then reconfiguring it down the road. You can always sell of your current system when you are ready to upgrade.
Ive been using thosr king brother gate valves and have been happy with the. If I think that I may need to remove them, I buy inexepensive unions from lowes and put them on either side.
Its not a retail store but I'm sure it wouldn't be problem if you want to check something out in person or pickup and order. I think they are normally there till about 500 during the week.
Skimz made the skimmers for Warner. The Skimz Monzter 201 appears to be basically the same skimmer using the same pump and a different bubble plate. I picked up a skimz leopard 253. I think the Warner is built with a little bit thicker acrylic. The Warner is a tank...
I think the literature claims up to 250 but that was high. When I bought it I traded some messages with John Warner and he said that he rated it for around 180 for a well stocked tank. I had it on my 120 and it was plenty of skimmer for it.
I use Aquarium Log for android and it is ok. Recently ive started to use a dry eraser board that I hung up by my sump to jot down notes about filter changes, pareters, qt, etc and ive found it to be handy.
